Introduction

I stumbled across this site while researching a 4x4 issue with my '92 Explorer.

Figured, as they say to I would post an introduction.

My rig is a '92 Explorer I bought a week ago from a dealer for $925.00. So far I've had the coolant temperature sensor replaced (amazing what that can cause without even throughing a check engine light) and put new tires on it. I still need to fix the 4x4, find and repair an exhaust leak, and replace the valve cover gaskets.

The rig is a '92 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer Edition.

Yeah, I really can't complain for the price. I was expecting the intake manifold gasket or the mass air flow sensor, or both, to need cleaned/replaced when I first bought it. I couldn't trace down the issue so had a mechanic take a look and $76.00 later the coolant sensor was replaced and it runs like a top (excluding the occasional backfire/miss from an exhaust leak).

I will have to get pictures up when I get some time.
