iPhone 4 - IOS 5, contact images are missing

Hi,
Just got my Ex limited. Paired my iPhone4 (w IOS5), everything works except image download for my contacts.
When salesman did the pairing, "download images" option was turned off, so I got all my phonebook transferred - but without images.
I ticked this checkbox in "phonebook management" screen, erased phonebook and it was downloaded again - but again without images.
According to compatibility chart this feature is supported.
What I am missing here ?

Contact photos have never worked with the iPhone 4, or 4s.

Did you show the chart to your EX?

But seriously, I do not believe that contact photos have ever worked with the iPhone 4(s). A least I've never seen anyone who claims to have that function working.

I plan to print all those forums messages and read them aloud to SYNC lady, to wake up her conscience

Using iPhone4 with iOS5 and contact photos have never worked.

Even with iOS 4.1.3 the images didn't transfer.

Apple issue not MFT/SYNC.

Same as text to speech issue with Apple not supporting MAP in their Bluetooth stack.

Have you tried hooking up the phone with the usb? It makes album art transfer with Pandora

Contact photos don't work. It's not a MFT thing, it's an Apple thing. By the way, they are not going to work with the upcoming upgrade either. Watch the demo video, you'll notice the phone connected is an iPhone and that there are is no photo on the contact.
