Hi guys, looking to pick your brains about the 01 thru
03 2-dr Sports. (Been looking at an 03.)
Are these models better or worse than the gen 2's?
I understand the 02's have a 5R55W trans, and the
03 has a 5R55S, and both are stronger than the
earlier 5r55e...?
What about the rear axles; the 03 still has the
straight leaf-sprung rear end I believe?
Have the cam chain tensioners been upgraded in the
03's, so that's no longer a problem?
Many thanks for any help and advice. Since the
2-drs are no longer produced, I'm looking to buy
another Sport to last a few more years......
