I have discovered a new sound, it sounds like a low humming (almost like a distant fog horn) when the truck idles, as soon as I give it gas it goes away. The first start of the morning it will actually kill the truck after about 2 seconds. Then I start it up and it is good (still humming but it will run). As soon as it is warm there is no sound. When I start the truck at lunch or after work there is no sound, only in the morning.
I am thinking it is the alternator bearing going bad.
What do ya'll think?
