I just scoured the local auto parts store for a product to clean my throttle body and MAS. The best product I could find was Valvoline's "SynPower Carb, Choke & Throttle Body Cleaner".

It says its safe for oxygen sensors. It is a spray can, but the directions say to use it without running the engine (unlike the Gumout products that say to spray at 10 second intervals with the engine running). It doesn't specifically say its safe for Mass Air Flow Sensors (the Gumout product specifically said not to spray directly on the Mass Air Flow Sensor).

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I could not find the Amsoil Power Foam mentioned in other threads. Tx.

Funny that youshould post this today. I just finished cleaning my MAF this afternoon. I used the Gumout product and sprayed it on a QTip. Then laid the sensors on top of the QTip end to let it absorb the cleaner. After a few minutes, I lightly rubbed the QTIP against the sensors( i didn't want to find out how easy it would be to break the sensors) Put the MAF back in and so far. nomore pinging. But only tim ewil time. Hope this helps.

Tx for the response. I will trying the Valvoline product today. I'll post my results.
