I love my explorer and would not buy a rodeo for myself, but a buddy of mine that i work with has one with 230,000 miles on it and it is tough as nails. He constantly abuses it and it never lets him down.i'd say they are a great suv for the money.

Nothing wrong with a dressed up Blazer....except everything :D

Yes, IIRC it is nothing more than a dinky Chevy Blazer with the Isuzu name. It IS American at least..too bad it's a GM ;) Why not get an Explorer or something? An Isuzu is one of the last SUVs I'd get.

I think you're thinking of the new Ascender Majisto. As far as I know and have ever been told, the Rodeo is an independant vehicle. In fact Honda used to sell it under a different nameplate, the Passport.

Do not buy any Isuzus... or Pontiacs for that matter. ;)

Why not? Isuzu is a good, dependable, reasonably well built vehicle. They also have poor resale, so getting one a year old is a great deal...

And what do Pontiacs have to do with anything?
