Yea, well its been umm... well over 8 months since Ive been around these neck of the woods. No excuses I know. I'm glad that my name wasnt erased. I'd say thanks Rick, but im not even sure your running that aspect of this board anymore. Boy have things changed. Not sure if for the better yet I need to do some heavy searching for that. However i would not put that past you Rick to make this board better than it was. Last i remember you were expirementing with the 'Chat' feature, and JUST introduced IMing to our board.
I was brought back to this board for 1 reason... or more than 1 reason but my Explorer finally umm... gave me REAL problems tonight. Dont laugh too hard but I was stuck in 2" of snow, on totally flat ground.
My WARNING to everyone that has ever been a member of this board. Some how your Explorer WILL find out that you stoped talking about it everyday of your life and it WILL turn its back on you. It will start out as little things such as washing fluid not spraying... going all the way to 4 wheel drive not working AND your exhust almost fallign off.
If you can think about it besides for an acident, it has prolly happned to me and my truck since i left here months back. I will get a real post out there soon. Its late and i have a track meet tomorrow.
Ive given EVERYONE a fair warning. I went from VERY addicted to rather unintrested and then the Explorer started to get back at me.
Have a great day everyone and stay around.

Hey! Welcome back. It's too bad your truck had to cause you a bunch of problems, but hopefully it will become friendly again now that you have returned.
Good luck!

Hmmm..... I was unaware that it was even possible to not think about and talk about my Explorer and mods I would like to make 24x7. Maybe there's something wrong with me, but I even dream about my Explorer sometimes...

LOL

And here I was thinking I was crazy.... everyone (and I do mean everyone) says that I talk about my truck like it is a living, breathing entity..... Yep...my truck is the first "man" in my life ....number 2 is Daddy number 3 is my son and then finally , my boyfriend (oh but he shouldn't fret...he is the one that got a brand new winch for xmas/Valentines/Bday)....... Yep.....my truck is "my knight in shining armour" and I feel like g/d Cinderella when we're "riding" together.

I wake up in a cold sweat every now and again, having had some nightmare that some punk kid came around a corner too fast and totalled my truck, which is parked out front of my house. I wouldn't laugh, it has happened to me before. 1800 dollars worth of damage for that one.
Or that one dream when I was working on my truck in the driveway, and it somehow broke into gear and was flying down the driveway. I managed to somehow jump on the side of the truck and turn the steering wheel through an open window, which only succeeded in parking it in my neighbors living room. Talk about a nightmare.

Welcome back Nick!

Yep some things have changed but its for the better if you ask me. Us moderators are around, but Rick is still in total control etc.

Stick around and we'll deactivate the break down device we installed in your truck (we install it in everyone's trucks and when they go away for more than a week we activate it).

Just kidding.........or am I ;)

Can you PLEASE turn it OFF!!!

How much would you charge to turn to breakdown device off? 200, 300, 400... its worth it if i could get my old truck back heres a quick list of things I MUST do as soon as i pay my insurance{gulp}.
Cat back exhust: old exhust with 84400, is about to fall off
Manual hubs: the autos finally broke.. or so me thinks :o)> {I should NOT get stuck in 2" of snow}
Fuel filter: ORGINAL stock... may be a reason for crappy MPG
Oxygen sensor:Orginal stock.. another reason for crappy MGP
Serpentine belt: Orginal stock... im suprised its still 1 piece and not shreaded... happened on my {other vehicle}
Weather stripping{Rear liftgate}: When there is a puddle in your cargo area you have a slight leak.
New switch AND relay for driving lights: NEVER put in driving lights with out that RELAY{the switch WILL burn out}
Interior door handle: Missing since i bought the vehicle, now that i have people in my truck often, it may be a good investment
New Panel vents: dont let little kids play with these, they too DO break.
AND that EXPLORER 4X4 sticker on my rear window, its STILL M.I.A.
The insurance MUST come first, but then I WILL start on the list. {If im not broke}
Any donations will be accepted :o)>

CAN you PLEASE turn the 4x4 back on i JUST found out im in for a big snow storm on friday and i have to go to boston for a track meet{New Englands}.
If you can or point me in a direction.. i remember a while back there was a thread on 4x4 probs but so much has changed... there was soemthign in the T-case that you could take out and clean. Not that i have many tools up here at college but if i think this will help i'll go out and purchase some tools. Unless anyone of you guys that I dont know of, cause ive ben away for so long, lives in the New Haven area and would like to help me out :o)>

Have a great day everyone, my probs will be fixed soon, lets hope.
