Just wondering on how to take the front fender off(passenger side if that matters). That and where are the blend door actuator, fan speed controler, interior sensor, exterior sensor, and sunload sensor?

Also if anyone has an eatc or at least knows about it are thoes the only things I need to get it in and operating?

Thanks!

Sounds like someone's trying to do an EATC convert. :)

You'll need the EATC control head too, in addition to those things. Don't forget to take a good bit of wiring along with it; you'll need the plugs and everything.

The blend door actuator is located behind the glove box. If you search for "blend door" you'll eventually find pictures.

The fan speed controller is located under the hood near the blower motor and evaporator case.

interior sensor is mounted to the ducting behind the glove box somewhere, and don't forget the white tube that goes with it.

the sunload sensor is mounted on the defrost duct piece; I think you have to take the defrost vent off to get to it

don't know where the exterior sensor is but I think it's somewhere up by the radiator.

Hope that's enough to get you started; there may be some pictures on here somewhere but I'm not good at keeping track of the threads. I thought about doing this but never got around to it

oh and I have no idea how the fender comes off

You caught me :D I already have the head and tons of wire, just didnt come pigtailed.

Thanks alot for the reply today is starting off to be an excellent day Im now 21 headed to the junkyard in the morning and buying a six pack!!!:D

for the fender, you might have to take the bumper off. there is one bolt that you can sorta see behind that. there is one nut at the bottom of the header panel below the turn signal. you might have to pull the splash shield back for that one, and take all the screws out of the splash shield near the fender lip. one bolt inside the door near the top. two at the bottom near the door, and the ones on top. i am trying to remember if there are two behind the turn signal or not (it's been about 9 months since i pulled evils fender off to repair the rust behind it).

sorry i haven't gotten back to you about the cruise buttons. i haven't been feeling well for the past two days. i am off work until next tuesday, so i will snap some pictures for you.

Jeez that fender sounds like a complete pain!

Not a problem, Ive been wanting to stay away from it :fire: seems everything that deals with that truck has to be complicated lol nothing coming easy like it should
