I am a newbie and have a 00 Merc Mountaineer. I have already gained good info from this site. We (my wife and I) got our Mountaineer 3 weeks ago and the mod fest has begun. This is my wife's truck as she wanted a street rod but with two kids under the age of 3 we needed the Merc. I lowered it, got some 04 Mustang wheels and installed a kicking stereo for her. I have been into building muscle cars for years and now she wanted me to build one for her. We also have a 90 35th Anniversary Thunderbird SC (which is my baby as I have built this car from a rolling shell) . Just wanted to say hi and thanks already on the tips I have read which helped me lower the Merc and pic the correct wheels and offest. Thanks again

Nice mountaineer and nice supercoupe. I used to have one but it got totalled boy I miss it so much.

My last SC was a 89 5 speed too! I miss that car. I have had 5 of the SC's and this 35th just kind of fell in my lap. I sold em all for this project which is now finished. Took me 3 months to get right, it was a rough 35th when I got it, stripped it, re-did the interior, pulled engine and trans, rebuild engine and 5 speed trans and put it all back together. Lots of $$$$ and time with this SC. They are great cars. This one is one of 147 5 speed Anny cars. Got any pics of your old SC?
