Hey folks,
The ripoff shop said I need new balljoints. During my yearly inspection. Granted I can see thier point. My front tires were worn on the insides, I just replaced really bad shocks and rotated the tires and the wear pattern is gone. Also my front end is reallt creaky.
What I don't have is popping in the front end. I cannot find any movement in the ball joints when I jack vehicle by the frame or by the lower A-arm. They seem solid. No pulling or wandering when driving????
So am I being scammed for $400 or am I missing something?? I asked again and said I'll be doing it myself. Does it need to be done now of after winter? Dude said "do it now". I picked up the parts but cannot find any problems.
What did I miss??
