Just got an X, where to run power wire?

Hey guys i jus bought a 99 x sport yesterday and i wanna get a system in it quick for homecoming at school. Im tryin to find a good place to run the power wire at thru the firewall inside but i cant find newhere. Its 4 guage, anyone got any ideas on where to run it and what would b the easiest? Thanks guys! And im glad to join the X forum with u all

ouch that kinda sux cuz now i gotta run it across the engine bay and thats a lotta wire, o well looks like im buying more! thanks guys!
 






Your battery should be on the driver's side, so you wont need more wire, but there is a grommet up there where you can push the wire through.

hey guys thanks this forum already proving to be very helpful :)
 






Rather than run it around the grommet like Brans Freestyle, drill a small hole just off center in the grommet and force the power wire through for a water tight fit.
 












or better yet run enough wires through the grommet that its sealed on its own. i have two 0 guage, three 8 gauge, and about 20 smaller wires through mine as well as air lines.

You should see mine.....imagine how many wires an Ex cop vehicle has.....two of the thickest wire looms full.....
