well, my truck came with a tranny cooler on it (i think most explorers do...dont they?) and now its gone. anyway, me and a friend of mine just replaced it with a Hayden 404. its awesome. we used the stock hoses to the fatory cooler and just took the factory cooler out, and plugged the Hayden cooler up to the hoses, used some zip-ties to hold it in place, and thats it. took us about 2 hours only because we ended up mutilating a hose and had to run out and replace it. under normal conditions, it should take about 45 min to an hour.
question to all you guys with tranny coolers: where did you mount yours? i mounted mine right in front of the A/C condenser, right around where the stock cooler was, but we kinda had to center it, so when you stand back from the truck, its right in the center of the grill, going longwise up and down, and theres, like, a support right in the middle of it.
