Just ordered my new EX

We just ordered a Limited 4WD with 302a, trailer tow, roof rack cross bars. I found this forum just before ordering in enough time to see pictures and take the plunge to pecan interior without seeing it in person. (Thanks to those who posted interior pics of this!) But now after sitting down this weekend and spending more time reading about order times, I have become worried about allocation. We ordered from a smaller, newer dealer because we had trouble with the larger dealer and our x-plan. How concerned should I be about my wait time?

Ask the dealer for a copy of the "Dealer Order Receipt Acknowledgement". On that you can confirm they have the order right, and it also shows your priority. If you have priority 80 - its probably a long wait. Priority 20, its probably a couple months.

BTW - I ordered the same thing! Tri-coat white with pecan interior (dealer didn't even know it existed! . Kept wondering if I should get the moonroof, but finally decided against it. Didn't get the crossbars yet, but figured that could be done at any time.

We debated the moonroof too, but after problems with our minivan one, and barely using it anyway, opted out.

I have a priority 18 too - don't want it until early December so we can take advantage of the discounts at time of delivery (usually higher in Dec ) Yeah, I didn't get moonroof, as past experience was we don't get a lot of use from it either.

Ordered mine on 10/12/11. Just found out it should be built the week of 11/7 and expected delivery is the week of 11/14. Priority was 11 w/ xplan pricing. Hopefully everyone has theirs by xmas but then we'd all need bigger trees

Question...are you certain you can take advantage of dealer incentives at time of delivery as well? We ordered our explorer in Sept. with Employee pricing. Do we still get whatever deal is being offered when it is delivered? It's been 4 weeks...no VIN and the dealer tells me they don't have the DORA to give me...Grrrrrr...

When I ordered, W/ xplan, the dealer told me that I would either get the incentives at the time of order -or- the incentives at the time of delivery, which ever was better. But the incentives at time of ordering are guaranteed.

My hope for delivery before Christmas is waning, watching many of your other timelines. Though I am happy you all are getting build dates and ETA's!

Order date 10/7. Still in order processing.

I cannot get the incentive page to load from Ford for some reason. Are they still running any rebates right now?

Ordered mine 10/14, received VIN 10/17, built 10/31, Sched delivery of 11/11, arrived 11/10 and ready for pick up 11/11. Completely enjoying my Golden Bronze Limited with Pecan interior. Checked all boxes except moonroof.

Hoping yours arrives before Christmas and winter weather.
