just picked it up. 1992 xlt 4x4

i just picked up a 1992 X. 4x4, xlt. everything is mechanically perfect! with only 87,000 miles. and i got it for 650bucks

i only have one problem. they guy who had it before me, bought it off some lady that signed her maiden name on the title instead of the one thats printed on the title. he told me all i have to do is go to the clerk of courts, set up an appoitment with a judge, tell him the circumstances and he should be able to fix everything. does anyone else know what im talking about? any help would be great! thanks.. pics to come when its light out

Good luck on that one, If it is so easy why didn't he do it. I don't want to rain on your parade but I might talk to an attorney and try to get ahold of the person on the title.

I bought an old bronco like that once and long story short scrapped the truck in the end. It was a junker though not in good shape. It was not worth the effort and I needed parts.

Let us know how this works out. Try to find the person on the title first.
