i went to go get my amp fixed a week ago cuz some screws backed off of it and shorted the amp out. the place i bought it from said that the warranty was voided because i had opened the amp (which i did) but they said for 50 bucks i could just buy a brand new one from them, so i did (i would have paid that anyways, cuz mine was beat up really bad when my box rolled over on it) i also bought a capicitor for it while i was there. i got the acap3x. its got a digital display that looks really sweet. once i got it hooked up i tried it out and wow! it makes a differnece! first off no more dimming lights, second my bass sounds so much cleaner and louder!

that's cool you got a cap (your alternator will thank you).
how did your box roll over? do you have it secured now?

i got held in there with bungee cords right now, i still am tryin to find a good way to secure with out cuttin up my rubber floor mat, it wasnt secured and i was doin a little offraodin and it kinda got thrown over. if somebody were to walk by my car they would think i had a bomb in there cuz the cap takes about 5 minutes to turn off, so when i leave my car, it slowoly counts down from about 14.9 volts to 12.5, im gonna come out from work one day and find a bomb squad rippin my car apart :).

LOL...
when people see my amp and cap, they think it's a bomb. and mine's not even digital. yours must really surprise them!

what about getting an "L" bracket and bolting it to the floor. attach the bracket to the back of it (the side with the subwoofer) so it wont roll back, and the rear seat will hold it in place also.
