I have a 01 explorer v8. I put the key in it the other day and it would not start. I went to turn key to off position and noticed the ignition was loose and all the lights stayed on on the dash. Had to disconnect the battery so it wouldn't go dead. I tried a new ignition first then that didn't work so I went and put a ignition starter switch in it felt write for a second. Then went to crank it over nothing and the key felt like it did before loose or like the key was broken off it it but its not. I heard something about a actuator rod. I'm stumped any input would b greatly appreciate. Pulling my hair out here
