Just Want to Know 1995

Explorer sport with all of the radio wires hanging out of the dash (connectors are still on). I don't need anything fancy, but how can I tell what it had in it originally? I can just pick one up used and that would be fine.
Radio, radio plus tape?, etc.

if it has a grey plug that is kind of wide and one row of 8 or so wires, and a black square plug that is kind of small with 8 or so wires in it, that is an amplified system (not nesecarily the JBL system). My 97 had those plugs behind the radio and was the basic amped system. If you want to spend a little bit of money I would reccomend getting an aftermarket radio and bypassing that amp. It will sound better, probably be easier to find, and you can ussually find a good cd player for a good price on ebay or craigslist. Hope this helps!
