I just bought a 97 sport in almost new condition... except for the rattling timing chains (SOHC). I have a low mileage 99 (SOHC) engine and I would like to know if it can be installed in the 97 sport. Local salvage yard says no but I'm hoping they are wrong. Thanks.

Just looking at the motors... I see the 99 has a single gas line and the 97 has two. What is the difference on that and how do I work around it?

Change the upper and lower intakes. Or possibly just the fuel rail.
