Would like some input on a modest performance boost on my '07 Limited (4.6l 4x4). I am occasionally pulling a 21 ft. travel trailer and instead of trading for a bigger (more horse power truck), could I get some reasonable improvements out of my 4.6 banger? I don't think I'd go to the extreme of a turbo or headers. I was thinking of a performance chip (tune) and perhaps a K&N cold air kit. Would a better exhaust system have any benefits?
Thoughts? Ideas?

my personal opinion is that your best bang for the buck is a custom tune (henson performance) is a member on here. Don't get a canned tune by ordering from an online 'big-box' get in touch with a tuner and have them do a custom tune to your liking. (they make towing tunes geared towards more torque than HP. intake/exhaust combo also help. if you did those 3 (using a 89 or 91, or 93 octane tune) and you'll get noticable improvements in both performance and likely gas mileage. the SCT X3 enhanced also has capabilities to tune the transmission of the 6spd.
