I think you'd have to go to a Ford dealership for new chip key programming. Maybe even a new ignition for a new key.

To program a new Fob, turn the ignition on and off 5 or 8 times ending in the on position( can't remember how many) and you'll hear the doors lock.
Now press a button on your new key fob and the door locks will go up and down again confirming the fob programming.

Can get lots of Fobs from the scrapyard or buy a new one.

Thanks for Quick answer
What does mean ignition ? fob ?
Is the thief could steal the car after your process ?
Thanks

Fob - .. The 3 button thing attached to your keys. Lock/Unlock/Panic

He'd probably be able to get into your vehicle with the fob he has but the physical key would have a different cut if you replaced the ignition or got your existing one keyed differently presumably by an automotive locksmith.

If you want a whole different setup to change the code/chip and all that I think it gets pretty intense, having to change all the pats security stuff.

I could be wrong though, this is what I've been led to believe.

Yes, the fob is the remote that has lock, unlock and panic buttons.

The ignition is the little thing you put the key in and turn to start your Explorer.

Your best bet, would be to find a locksmith that can program keys. He will have to plug in a little computer that will erase the keys from your Explorer, and program your existing one, and a new one if you wanted. The old key will still unlock the door, but he wont be able to start the Explorer with it.

The fob is easily programmed yourself, as the member above mentioned once you program it, the others will be erased and not work.

Thanks Guy for helps

How can he Goes in the car with the fob if this fob bas been reprogrammed mysef ? How can i reprogram the fob ? The Keys ? Program separetly ?
