keyless entry code

[99 XLT]

i just got my 1999 xlt and the dealer didnt have the keyless entry number , i've heard its on the computer module??? if it where is that on a 99??? if not where else would it be thanks for your help

I have a 98, and they are just about the same. I had the same problem with mine, and this how I got my code. It should be located in the drivers rear panel. I took off the storage cover... where the jack is... and looked inside towards the front. You should be able to see the back of the modual. You should see a 5 digit code in bold black.. That will be your code. Hope this helps you.

No disrespect, but run a search..... this question comes up at least once a week and hass been explained thousands of times by hundreds of menbers.
