kinda a dumb question, but does anyone know when the factory keyless code is located???? 96 xlt

you mean for the keyless pad on the driver's door? if so, then in the back where the jack is located, use the lug wrech and kinda pry the plastic back a bit. in that whole opening towards the front there is an electronic box that has a sticker on the front with some numbers. the large print 5 digit number is the factory keyless code for the door. make sense? sorry been drinking
