Gents,

I'd just like to take a moment to thank the forum for a lot of help with my Explorer. It's not been the best time around here lately and we're not done yet but on the truck front, things are looking up.

Particular thanks to Howard for his usual calm and rational counselling when things look like they;re turning to s....t, Stenasev for coming to the rescue with a pair of tie rods at a bargain price and in particular to Jan Olsson for generally helping me out of the poo in a couple of ways.

Jan, you're a gent and you know why but you're also a genius and I want to have your babies (only joking!).

My beloved wagon has been through the mill a bit lately but I've fixed the steering rack (even though I had to get gaiters from Canada!) and I've fitted the exhaust.

Unfortunately since then, I've had no ARC :(

However, on reading up, some wise words by the good Mr Olsson sent me out into the cold and dark to find.............yes, I'd knocked the linkage off while changing the exhaust! Popped it back and we're in business.

Result - and big thanks guys!!

Jon

Ne bother
thats what forums are about, well this one anyway!!

Jan and the guys are a great bunch; always helpful and on hand to help.

Mine wouldn't be here if not for Howard in particular.

As for the ARC, I have come to the conclusion that our ARC system is evil. I can't wait to rip mine out and replace with a full set of Bilstiens ;o)

Stick with it, these are great trucks worth the investment of a little TLC.
