2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac,
So decided to add some LED light strips to my interior, I wired them into each door negative trigger, pulled power from fuse box ( #26 Power Saving, Interior Light fuse). All works fine each light strip lights up when it's door is open and off when closed.
THEN I noticed that the light strips were on this morning, but not the dome light.
I do have OEM keyless entry and theft system.
I did some research and thought that adding a diode to the negative line of each light might take care of the problem.
I also added a diode to the positive wire.
WRONG, still possessed .
Any ideas ?
