LED tails for 2008 X -where/how?

Ok it's bothering me. I've had led tails in every Ford I've owned for the last 5-10 years. Aftermarket often, but I had them. My last 2003 had them, but I can't find any for the 2006-2010 body style!

Anyone know how to retrofit these properly or know of someone making them?

i have not found any after market modded LED or HID anything for our body style yet besides the crappy Projector Fogs. look cool but put out way less light then stock even with new bulbs.

It's the only part of my truck that makes it look like a 2008. Led tails are much better. I've heard the tails can be retrofitted for the 2002-2005 body style, wish there was a write up for this.

Led tail housings are also much brighter allowing for darker tinting.

Yea but you modded them yourself, hes looking for ones to just buy and put in.



I love LEDs too. Less power Normally brighter and also the fast response of them turning on and off makes people notice them better.

I got the OEM LED euro tails for my VW. They are bright as fudge at night and the design is so evil looking. Nothing compares to them, that's why I don't even bother with my other vehicles lol.

there is a write up for fitting 06-10 tails into a 02-05 so I would imagine you just reverse the install with a little bit of reverse engineering... this might be something I will look into doing myself

instead of adding pigtails you would be condensing them and as for mounting the lights it would be either get them and figure it out or find someone with a 3rd gen and try swapping them and looking at the mounting locations and pins... my dad has a 2004 and i have never held both next to each other and did a comparison
