Well you know from my post my plastic door paw broke. $40.00 replacement was not the answer. I found clips and fasteners had them at $8.00 for 1 well today my bag came and 1 mention 1 bag of 10. So I have 8 extras 1 I'm keeping as a spare and 1 I'm using. So if someone needs a driver door lock paw clip I have 8. And the 3 guys that been helping me the last 2 weeks you get first dibs. I posted this in Brooklyn post under parts for sale but my post was buried as number 105 so I posted it here
Well I just completed another fix my bucket list is almost complete.that lock paw was a bugger to do. The paw clips on the back of the lock no. It clips around the cylinder there's knotches in the cylinder but if it's broken off you don't know how to clip it on you say WTH IT DONT FIT. It's a press and snap and you need to know it's open end points towards the left of the door. And the clip attached to the rod bent like a hook. But it clips to the straight up/down section of the rod. Now that I've done it it's a 30 min job as long as you have all the tools needed to do this. 1. Left lock paw,#2screwdriver ,vice grip, panel trim removal tool,1/4 door plastic rivets because you could break some popping the door off. While I had the door panel off I used white grease on the window regulator so my window flys up and down.if you included the grease window add 5 minutes. Allowing the fact I haven't wrench in 15 years since I became disabled I'm happy. Last gremlin is eawd then just Mantance
