Lifetime Ford fan, Hello 2 all !!!

First thread I'm posting, well I'll see if that how it works out lol. Names Cameren and big Ford fan forever, even through some tuff times with certain models. Found this site by searching around on my phone, and seemed really cool. Wish there were a off road club around my area. I got the 04 explorer now and want to build it up for off road use, it does really good even stock, but bottoms out everywhere, that's the only thing that stinks as of now. I need to find the best lift ideas for it, but it's so hard to find parts for my explorer ? Want up to a 5-7 inch suspention kit, but can only find spindles, spacers witch could work for cheap, idk if anyone has tryed that route, and if it's good ? Want to fit 38 inch tires, not afraid of rolling it over. But over all I wanted to say Hello and maybe meet some cool people that like the fun of the outdoors and getting to that hard to get fishing hole with your SUV. Or just getting lost in the trails lol. Thanks for reading my thread...

Welcome Cameren- Might want to divulge which C-town if other than Chicago (just a guess), could help you get hooked up with some off roaders in your area!

Thanks for the reply, ya it's c-town Connecticut, small town of Canterbury. I need to get my lift on before I do join a big off road crew. Would like to alot but need clearence for ruts and stuff. I know a bounch of jeepers that go out, like my sister also she got 35in tires and plenty of clearence, but I got to stay with the Ford there the best off road and a solid solid frame which can help alot at times. But if you know of a Ford crew it would be so cool like I said I'm a big fan of Fords.
