im getting a spring pack made by deaver or national.......and on my ranger im going to flip the rear hangers to bring down the pivet point a bit. but even doing that it will still give me like a 4" lift. im thinkin about getting some longer shackles which will make it lower, but also still allow me the emount of travel im looking for...

how strong are the shackles that you guys use to lift your explorers? would they hodl up hitting woops going 50 and launching in the air. somoen reccomended chromoly ones, but i dont have the cash for that

thanks

The warriors will hold up for sure.

Just don't get the autozone kind.

where would i buy some warrior shackles?

Tellico4x4 has them for cheap.

where could i get some shackles to lift the back end up about two inches?

I got mine at www.desertrat.com u have to call them... there not on there site... the part # is WAR153 there 49.95 +14.00 shipping.. total = 63.99 they are great... i had them 2 days after i ordered them..

PS keep your eyes open... im going to do a write up on how to install the shackles.. in the next few days.. as soon as i get some time..

the warrior shackles will provide about a 1.5-2" lift and are way stronger than the stock shackles....

tt and shakles

if i use the warrior shackles how much should i raise the front with the tt? and after i lift it do i need to get an alighnment? thanx

i'm wondering the same. i'm adding shackles to my X this summer.

I read somewhere that you have to remove the sideways mounted shock in the back when you install the warrior shackles. Is this true?

I haven't done this myself but based on other posts I've seen you will need an alignment for sure and you can do a torsion twist that will level it out, the exact amount depends if you're truck has sagged over time, at most I think it is 2 inches.

yeah ya can only get 2 inches outs the TT.
