Since putting back my instrument cluster, engine management light does not work - assume the bulb has gone. Got onto Ford local dealer by phone who came up with one unit described as 'bulb and holder' at £8.23 plus VAT, 10 days delivery:D. He was unable to see from his picture if the bulb was part of the holder. Rather than take mine back out to just have a look, can anybody help? Searching the forum comes up with mention of a 168 bulb, this being a LED. Am I right in saying that the 'unit' is a separate bayonet holder that takes a 168 bulb? If so, can you get a 168 filament bulb?

you can buy them bulbs for lesss then £1.50 at halfords, the bulb pulls out the cap holder and only need to replace the bulb

Thanks guys, saved me a lot of work that I would have had just to have a look.

All done:D - Halfords number 286 is the correct one - now £1.79.
