I have searched on this forum and on google and cannot, for the life of me, find the location of the AC drain line on a 2001 5.0 Explorer.

Where is the drain line located? I'm pretty sure mine is clogged...

Thanks so much!

Heh, there are so many other threads like this with no supporting posts. Either no one else knows or it's a stupid easy answer to a stupid question... lol

Not sure precisely, it comes off the heater box and the evap is inside.
Here's an easy way to find out.
Run the AC and park on a hard surface.
There should be some condensation drainage just behind the right front tire kind of under the vehicle assuming everything else AC is working right.
Drip drip drip.
If it's stopped up it might get wet inside too.
That way you don't have to disassemble the heater box to see if it's draining.

Would this look like Plain Water ? Mine leaks at the bottom of the Front Passinger floor espcially when i start the Motor .

The drain for evaporator AC drain is in the engine compartment, near the fire wall, at the bottom of the Evaporator case. Its just a opening.
If you have wet floor inside your explorer, its from something else.( heater core, sun roof drain, etc).
There are some vehicle with AC evaporator inside, but not explorers.
