I initially bought a LockSmart LC63180 lock cylinder for my 1996, EB, 4.0,4x4 Explorer.
This is a transponder key and it cost $67.00 plus tax.
It was the only part that would come up for a 96 Explorer.
Can I get the LockSmart LC61770 non transpoder key, $27.00, as specifiied for a 97 Explorer?
It would be nice to save the $40 since I don't need the transponder set up.
Aren't all the non transponder 2nd gen Explorers the same?
