Hello everyone! Just joined the forums and am happy to be here. I've been looking at getting the Ford Explorer. Specifically a 2019 Ford Explorer Platinum. Only has 31k, but was wondering if there are any widespread issues I should keep an eye out for in regards to the model year? Thanks!

I'd say no. If everything drives and rides good. With nothing broken or not working. You should be good. I got my 19 Limited 2wd 3.5 V6 na in September with 28k miles from Vroom and love it....

The massaging seats in the Platinum would be 👌...

'Seat to text'??? Sorry, I couldn't help myself! :)
Hey Dave. That has happened a few times. I actually saw a website the other day that used the word massaging instead of messaging. ;)

I would advise you to get an extended warranty if it doesn't come with one. They are well worth it and odds are it will more than pay for itself if you plan to keep this vehicle for many years and/or rack up a lot of miles on it. The one on our 2015 Edge has paid for $5k in repairs over the last 60k-70k miles.
