Hello all, I am looking for a SC for my Eddie. I’ve read 400 Rwhp is fine on stock internals.
Since Used SC’s on EBay are cheap I figured this may be the time.

can anyone recommend which one? None are listed for the X , as other have mentioned in the past. I’m hopeful they are out there because it’s just a 4.6 3v after all.

thanks !

There's no "drop in" setup....Brenspeed has a deal where they'll set it up using a kit for a 3v Mustang...IIRC it's around 5 or 6K.

Of course, someone with more than just the backyard skill set could do it on their own. Gonna need e-fans, bigger pump, injectors, tune, and obviously the upper intake/SC, as well as new TB and whatnot.

LOL, 400rwhp? The block's internals will handle more than that. You'll find the weak(er) links before the block ever cries in pain.

Watched a video a few days ago, a shop in minnesota did the same thing to a Sport Trac that had over 100K on it...no issues.

He’s not far off 450 and your pushing it with these over on the mustang forums motors start to blow at 450 whp. A few I’ve read ran 500 but didn’t last for long at all.

Thank you for the reply. I've Seen the Brenspeed but there are two Issues for me. 1. That package is Sold out on their Site, 2. Its 9200$ Im looking to buy in shape used parts to lower the build cost. This is a side project just for grins.
