I gotta start looking for a replacement X. My wife got hit by a semi that ran a red light. She didnt get hurt except for the air bag bruising. Damn lucky...

man, that is pretty crappy... mine wasnt that bad... but pretty close, they threw it on a frame machine and put on used parts i supplied... the engine wasnt touched though, just radiator and the front clip... but i rearended someone, not got nailed by a semi from the side......

glad to hear your wife is ok...... tell her we all wish her to feel better soon..... it may not be physical injuries, but i am sure that she is still hurting...... that stuff is scary! trust me, i know

Wow  . I'm glad the wife is okay. So, what are your plans for the X? Sell the parts?

I dont know at this point what I'm gonna do. No hurry.
Will see tomorrow what the cost of repair is and then what the value of the truck is and decide if its worth repairing. I would rather repair as buying a veh. is a PIA.

Bill,

Thank God your wife was driving an Explorer when she got hit. If she had been driving a car........:(

Sorry to hear that Bill.Glad she is alright:)

Sorry to hear about that Bill, but it may be time for a 5.0 X :D...maybe a real eddie bauer this time...hehe

Yep, I agree. A very good opportunity to get the V-8. Kinda like getting a second chance to get it right. ;)

The thought has crossed my mind.......

OH NO!!! The XLT that looks like my Eddie Bauer is wrecked!!!! I'm sorry to hear about your truck. Thank goodness that your wife is alright. Definitely let us know if it's totaled or not. And if it is, get a real Eddie Bauer this time!!! :D
