Hey guys, I am getting ready to lift my 2002 X and am concerned about the possibility of getting lower fuel milage due to the larger tires that I am going to run after the lift. Plus a little more horsepower and tq would be nice as well! My 2002 X has over 150,x.. miles on it, so I would imagine a decent tune up would be good and possibly some performance enhancements would be nice as well.

My questions to you guys are;

1.) What do you recommend I do as far as tuning up my ride? (note- my 2002 X has a v6) Perhaps plugs, wires, coil, and ?

2.) Can anyone tell me if adding underdrive/overdrive pullys would help? If so, which ones would you recommend I replace?

3.) Are there any decently priced chips or computer mods out there?

4.) What about air intake, throttle body spacers, and muflers?

5.) Should I replace any of the sensers? O2 sensers, ect..?

Any usefull advise you could offer up my way would be greatly appreciated!

There are probably 500+ threads in the Modified and Stock sub-forums talking about each of these questions already. Use the search function and you'll find PAGES of discussions on everything.

Search, Search, and Search my friend.

although i can add that i have an Underdrive Crank Pulley, and an Overdrive water pump pulley, and i have seen increased hp and gas milage. and Electric fan conversion will also increases hp and mpg. there is a thread in the sticky for both of these mods

Agreed with HiImBrian, and Kazer. I've found answers to all my questions like this without posting anything, just reading. Kills my time at work to!:D Though I did a K&N air intake, which after about the first two weeks I saw an improvement in gas milage, more than I expected really. Why I say after the first two weeks, I liked the growl that came from doing the intake so I was in the gas a bit more than usual to enjoy the sound!

I agree with the previous replies, and IMO I think you will get more benefit from an electric fan than with a cold air intake kit. Getting rid of that clutch fan makes a noticeable difference. This is just from my experience on other vehicles and everything always varies.
