ok, i am looking to do a 4 inch lift, what is a good lift kit, i can spend around $1500 here in a few months. im into trails with lots o mud and some rock climbing. so my questions are:

what kind of lift should i look for? im not planing on doing a axel in the front anytime soon. im not sure what my rear end is though, i will get that tomaro. im also doing the front end toe hooks mod very soon, will that get in the way of anything? also, what are the biggest tires i can fit under there with minimal trimming. i have the 4.0, will that be a problem?

If you have $1500 to spend including tires and wheels, then go with a 2" TT/shackle lift and a 2 or 3" body lift.

If you have $1500 to spend just on the lift then there are Trailmaster and Superlift 4" suspension kits.

1500 for tiers/wheels lift, how does the tt/shackel lift the front end? i never really understood it

Alec, what is a TT shackle lift? Sorry for my ignorance.

Eric

you twist the torsion bars (adjusters) in front to get a higher static ride height. The warrior shackles for the rear are longer and thus separate the leaves more from the frame.

Please look for the thread Torsion twist 101 and also search for install threads on the shackles.
