In my other posts, I mentioned I was going to install HID's. Well that didn't go well, only one HID would light at a time and the POS harness I bought didn't help either. So I took them out and reinstalled my Halogens. Yay, only one halogen works (passenger side). Interestingly enough the driver side was also the side I attached my relay harness to and it did "smoke" once. Another thing is that when I use highbeams, both lights work. It's just the driver side low-beam that doesn't work. Anyone know any remedies to this? I tried checking with a multimeter but I don't think that works as I got no readings. Please help me out! Man those VVME HID's messed my pass two days up big time....

you might give us a clue as to your truck type and year. Have you checked your fuses since you "smoked" a bit of the harness? There are two, one for each side.

Sorry about that, spent 6 hours outside in the cold and just got in...my bad. Anyways, it's a 2003 Ford Explorer Sport. I checked the fuses, they are fine. I swapped the bulbs between each other and both work on the passenger side. Only the driver side low beams don't work, high beams work on both. I think I may have messed up the plug? Do you think if I soldered another plug onto the OEM factory light bulb plug it would help?

Wait a minute...what fuse number is the low beam? Does it have a seperate one? I checked fuse 8.

Booya! Fuse was blown, swapped the fuses to test and yes it works. I checked fuse 8 instead of 38....silly me...

However I'm noticing a problem with my startup now...will make a new post for that.,,
