Low coolant light??

Recently changed the radiator fluid on my buddies 2002 V6 X. After the first test drive the Low Coolant lite came on and after a solid cool down I added more anti-freeze. The system is now full but the light still comes on and I don't know why. The system is full and the truck runs at a good temp so I know there is nothing wrong but the damn light won't go out. It only comes on after starting and putting the car in gear then it stays on constantly.

Anyone with any remedy as to how I might get this light off I would love to hear from you.

low coolant sensors (screwed into the radiator) go bad often


also my light on my 2002 had come on before and i added another inch to 2 inches of coolant to the tank and it wnet away for good.

Thanks I will try that... Does it matter if the tank has an inch or two more than the fill line?

no that is how i cured my problem. But then again it was dead winter.
