Low Range Light

I have a 92 EB,4X4 with auto hubs. Tonight coming home after driving around town, I shut the truck off like normal, and went inside. I had burned a cd so i went back out to put it in the truck, So I did but this time I started it and the little orange light next to the low range push button was lite dimmly, I put it into 4x4 and then into low range it pulled forward(near put it into it before, so not used to this pull, but i guess it is what everyone is talking about what happens when enageing low range) The light lite up brighter like normal(the light next to the push button low range) and so did the 4x4 orange light, Now only the 4x4 light was lite on the dash, not the low range light, Isnt the low range light supposed to be lit too? Is this telling me there is something wrong with the lowrange?

Make sure that you are in neutral and have your foot on the brake, then put it into LO. It will not go into LO if you do not do this.

It goes into low range fine, Its the light that the bothers me. What could this dim light me?

If your saying everything is fine except you Low light lights dimly while you are driving around, then don't worry about it. This phenomenon has been discussed and conclusions were not a big deal. Try searching to find the threads....

today i went out and the light is off now, go figure
