95 Eddie Bauer
I have a 95 Eddie Bauer that I purchased about 2 weeks ago. My main goal with the truck is looks (street use). I have no intent to go offroading. Now I'm seriously considering lowering it using the blocks and adjusting the torsion bars. My question is, is this worth the time and money? If it's not gonna be something that's noticeable (looks wise) I don't wanna waste my time/money. I'm not overly conserned with improved handling, but I don't wanna lose a whole lot of ride quality. I will be getting new shocks after droppin it, I know that'll help a bit. Thanks for any help/advise. If you guys need any more info let me know.

I answered your other post cause I saw it first, though I should have answered it here cause this forum is where it belongs. So here it is...

Lowering by using blocks and adjusting the torsion bars takes very little time or money. It can be done in a single afternoon and cost maybe $30 for the blocks. The costly part is getting it aligned after the torsion bar adjustment. But, it probably hasn't been done in a while anyway, so it would be a convenient time to do it. If that's what you want to do with the truck, then I say go for it. And, if you don't like it afterwards, it's easily reversible.
