I was wondering if anyone her uses or use to use MA AUDIO amps and speakers. If so, are they any good? What is it compared to? are they like Lanzar and Phoenix Gold?

Thanks

similar to phoenix gold type level of equipment

i've heard decent things about MA Audio and i've heard some pretty good sounding systems

I had 3 MA 12's in a box for a while. They sounded okay. I've definately heard better, but for the money they're a good buy.

their new stuff is decent if your on a budget.. their comps sound GREAT! their amps are decent, run cool, decent THD and s/n. if you can afford it the Kore Series 15" rocks... 5,000W RMS... ::drool::

a friend of mine got a 2,800 watt amp for 400 bucks brand new with warranty, the amp was actually 700 bucks but the place he bought it from was having a going out of business sale,

they also had 400 watt rms amps for sale for 100 bucks!
i would have bought one when i was there but they wouldn't take checks!

They're a good company.....

i heard they were good, (not as good as kicker :p ) but we had a sponsored MA audio van down the street from me that kicked A$$... i liked it and im about to replace my lanzar amp with their HK-2000D... well, i heard theyre good... so, good luck with your audio adventure

id say their much better than kicker now

better than kicker amps and speakers- maybe

not better subs

their lowend def not. what are those like $80 now? lol
but their high end yea... if you wanna pay outta your ass for them. kore series 15" runs like $750

to be better then kicker...or say mtx u have to be "better" alot of the appeal of mtx and kicker type brands is there low buy in for decent sound

now if we just say..oh this sub is better then this sub well run around that camp fire for ever..theres always something that costs 2x and is better..alot of the time though u gota ask urself if its that much better

jl w-7 12- kicker 15 CVR..to me NOT worth the much much higher buy in on the w7 because the the SPL is way less..the SQ is however much much better..but i can get a different sub that can do both for near the same price

i have installed w7 12s and 10s..wassent impresed with either of them and before u blame my box the 3 12s were installed in the box designed by JL.. and they are all powered by there very own 500/1 mono blocks

i thought the W7 never came in 12s? i thought it was 13s?

lol no i just didnt kno they had 12s lol

i still dont' understand why they don't have 15s or bigger, they ought to have a bigger sub.

I know if someone were making an 18" that could play as tight as i would expect a w7 18" to play i'd buy it, but thats a different conversation, lol

we installed an audiobahn 36" ( i believe) it sounded like a massive fart... it was disgusting how bad that sub sounded. we didnt to high of expectations as the guys that wanted it. he even wanted it to be his daily driver. it took almost 3 minutes (we counted) for it to bounce down until it was still.... anywho, yea w7 18" thatd be some ****! i bet it would play like most 15"

yeah, that audiobahn i'm sure sucks major monkey nuts

I think the technology thats gone into my subs or the w7 or many other of the newer super woofers could support some 18"ers that would be really impressive

x.. is available in 18" right? maybe i should shut up and put my money where my mouth is. My mom is getting a new car and donating her suburban to me and my brother (it has 245k on it so it isn't worth enough to trade or sell despite looking brand new) wonder how hard we could make that hit...

I dont think they designed the 34" for SQ ha ha....

the Sexcursion on the 34" was incredible, but the woofer had to move so much, we had problems with timing and cancelation... expo5.0.... hrmm (3)18" x.. + suburban = dB Drag?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? i think so.. ya thats right i said 3. man id love to see that
