MAF and throttle body questions

I got a 97 sohc. I was wondering where some of you have gotten a MAF and a bigger TB and an estimate on the cost of these and were they worth it. DId you feel a big difference? Thank you

Explorer Express has the MAF.

Don't think anyone makes a TB dor the SOHC motor.

The MAF on your model is not real restrictive, so I dont think its worth it. I got my throttle body from www.summitracing.com I installed all my mods at one time so I cant give an opinion of just the throttle body itself. I would think it would make a decent improvement with a Conical filter and a decent exhuast setup.

www.truckperformance.com may offer a throttle body, I know they do for first gens.

I have a 75mm TB on my Sport and it's a direct fit. The housing where the throttle cable attaches is a little different on the GT, but I have had no problems with it. Just order one from BBK for a 2001 Mustang GT. The TB gasket on the GT and X are the same so is the TPS sensor.
