magnetic mount to speaker grille on dash

Anyone see any issues using a magnet mount to the center speaker grille on the Xsport? I want to us a magnetic mount similar to magnetic antenna mount to hold my hat dash mount in place. In a thread for phone mounts someone said it would effect the GPS and satellite radio does anyone think that is the case?

Well the speaker you are mounting it to also has a magnet on the back....small but is there. So adding another magnet to the top should effect anything that I can think of. Stick a strong magnet up there for a bit and see how it effects things, if it does then just take it off.

FYI, the GPS antenna is under the dash toward the driver's side.
