Make AC blow towards face on startup

Does anyone know how to make the AC/heat blow on the setting that is directed towards your face. I usually like to start my heat by just tapping the + button that is not on the touch screen. This makes the air go through the "auto" vents but I want the air to blow towards my face. I don't want to have to go through the touchscreen and change the vent settings every time I drive.

Before you shut off the vehicle, is it on vent? If so, I would think it go back to the last known setting when you restart, at least that has been my experience. What do you mean by "start my heat by just tapping the + button "?

Also, just to be jerk, “going through” the touch screen is not that difficult. Touch screen once to get to climate screen, touch again for vents.
