making the rig of my dreams need help

hey guys im a newbie to the site, i have a 97 v6 with the typicall tt and shackel lift sitten on 31's just like every one else when they started with ther explorers, i drive it around town and hit the local trails. im ready to make this thing into a more capeable off road rig. i wana get the 3inch bodylift and get some 33's. (35' if possiable). im going to get the powertrax no slip for the front and do the disconecting of the auto four wheel drive bye doing the brown wire method.

i want to know if having the big tires and doing the transfercase modification will wreck my explorer. and would like other lift ideas and or other mods that you guys have done to your rigs that make them what they are.

You will be fine with doing the brown wire mod.

I thought full time 4x4 explorers could NOT do the brown wire mod? (AWD)

I have a 2000 with the 5.0 and I was told not to do this mod?

The OP has the V6 which isn't AWD
