manual t.c. for 4r70w

i'm rounding up parts to swap in a V8 when the 4L expires.

what transfer case options can i run behind the 4r70w, besides the AWD that they came w/?

1354 with an adapter, might be able to put a 1356 behind there too but im not really sure. Check and see if the 4r70w was ever available in the f-150 if it was the 1356 more than likely will work.

i read some threads where this was discussed, but there were clearance issues w/ the front driveshaft between the crossmember and the floor.

just wondered if anyone ever got it done.

Jeep NP208 with Ford NP208 input and a 1 1/4" adapter made and you can run that.
It's what i'm working on.

Atlas makes a nice transfer case for the 4R70W.
