Message center

Here's a question for anyone who might be able to help. I have a '97 Sport...my buddy has a '97 Eddie Bauer. I really like the message center in his, and was wondering if there was any way to put one in mine if I located one. It's not the physical install of the actual console I'm worried about...I just don't know what is needed electronically. If it is even possible, what would I need to install one? Thanks!

its possible, but not worth it. one guy did it a long time ago; he said it took about 20 hours to actually get it done, but i dont how he did it or what parts he used.
