Anyone out there find any after market dash kits with a speedo in Km?

I've seen em on Ebay once in a blue moon, and always when I'm to broke to buy:(

Other than that, can't find em anywhere

i feel your pain! i'm trying to find white face, with blue back lighting. i found one once, and it had only one minute left, and could find a shipping cost!

Sucks eh?

Someone has to know where to get them

Speedhut will do custom electroluminescent gauge overlays with a metric speedo for $10 extra.

(question #20)

They also have complete metric gauges including speedometers.

$136 shipped for the dash and heater control panel! I can't wait to have dash lights again:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

they look cool, but the only thing i don't like is that they don't go off the dash lights, they go off there own power

Every EI overlay kit that I've seen comes with its own dimmer control. Apparently the factory dimmer is not compatible. If the EI dimmer is powered from the brown wire at the head light switch, the dash lights will go on and off with the parking and head lights, just like stock. The only difference is that you would have independent dimming control of the EI components and the remaining factory dash illumination.

Perfect for me, 1/2 my dash doesn't light up;)

i'm sure you have checked, but are you sure the lights aren't burnt out, or blown fuses anywhere?

Ya my dash is a bit screwy...the left and right side went out together the center (speedo and tach) still lit up...did TT and shackles, welded the brace in the center of the shackles when they were on the truck (battery disconnected). When I turned my lights on after, the left side was working again:eek:

I'm only taking the dash apart once cuz I hate interior work. So I figure I can do the Brown Wire Mod, check the stock dash out, and install the aftermarket dash all at once.

But ya I have checked all fuses etc;)

are you getting them made in kph ?

Ya, cost $10 extra for KPH

cool post some pics once you get them. id like to see them.i just might be buying some then.

Will do, they were shipped on Thurs, so I'm playing the waiting game

Got em, here they are. Note; my camera SUCKS, sorry!

At night with flash, basically what they look like in daylight

Well, hopefully you get the idea...they actually do look really good, I swear...

Actually no...I followed the directions in BigTig's install thread, the instructions that they come with aren't vehicle specific. The dash had to come apart again to fiddle with the tach and oil pressure needles, you have to pry them gently up till they move freely over the new gauges. I can get my dash apart in 15 minutes or less now:p:

Overall, I am very happy with them and would reccemend them.
