Mirror blinker and heater fail

Hello, my driver side mirror blinker and heater are not working.
The power works to adjust it.
The assist lights work when unlocking.
The passenger side all works.
The fuse (#10) is good.

From what I’ve read, if the mirror power works and the passenger side works, the fuse and ground are both fine.

Mechanic tried putting a new led strip in and that did not light up. That’s as far as he went. He gave me my inspection sticker anyway. I’ve looked off and on at how to fix this over the year without any results. Now it’s time for a sticker again and I hope to figure this out.

Any idea’s if both of the blinker and heater are out?

If there is no power going to the LED strip there could be an issue with the wiring to it. When you mention the heater are you talking about the mirror defroster or the HVAC?

Mirror defroster. I don’t know if that and the blinker went out together or failed separately. I’m wondering if the mirror powers the led and if the mirror goes out, they both do?

Do the power fold and or auto-folding mirrors work on both sides?
You would likely require a wiring diagram to see how the 2 features, (signal, defrost), are hooked up.

Yup. Every option in both mirrors work except the blinker and defogger on the driver side.
