I need help been back to the dealer multiple times,4.0l sohc 1998 explorer 4x4. Engine misfires when hot. I found a valve at the rear of the intake manifold that is connnected to a vacuum solenoid. It was disconnected probably when the dealer did the intake manifold gaskets. It seems to control a butterfly valve but I do not know the correct placement af the axle for that valve. I have been moving little by little and the mifire seems to diminish but I keep loosing the e clips and it is frustrating. Does anyone know of a way to adjust this valve or a diagram of the sohc 4.0l intake manifold would help. Please help!!!!
